Rented an 06 Shelby GT-H from Hertz
Just thought I'd let everyone know that I rented a new shelby from Hertz for a day. Have to say it was the funnest day of my life, and only cost me $200. The car is fast. I loved taking corners fast and swinging my rear end around. Lets just say I tore up Tampa for a day, and got a lot of looks. It only had 325 HP...just looked like it had a C.A.I. and different exhaust. Sucked that it was an automatic, but owell still fun. Ill post pics later

06windveilgt It was kind of a pain to find the car. You have to rent it from an airport. Only a select few airports carry them. Lucky for me Tampa airport had them. It was only like $200 for a day, with all costs, like insurance and stuff. Well worth it to me. But if you live near an airport just get the Hertz number online then call em, and ask if they carry the shelby from the fun collection.

luckydawg, are they still making you provide them proof of flying in from out of town.(plane ticket etc)...Tampa Airport Hertz was insisting on that a while back...allot of the Hertz rental agents were...

cheftjpeck, I didnt fly in or have a ticket. I came up from Brandon. I called the Hertz at TIA and made a reservation for the shelby, then I went and picked it up later that day.

Well I guess you can rent them now. It kind of sux driving thru the airport to find the hertz desk, but it was worth it. Yea I had it Monday and Tuesday. I drove it all around town it was to fun to let sit and not be driven. What Mustang do you have, and what dlr did you buy it from. I think Im gonna have to order mine. since the dealers dont have any with the mods I want.
