I have cleaned it before to notice a few weeks later that the color has changed. I don't know if I didn't oil it enough or what . Anyway I just like a spare. I have cleaned mine twice and it does make a difference in the performance. Other guys have complained here like me wanting to know why they have advertised replacement filters so I am just trying to help.

That is C&L's phone number and you are buying their filter which i also have done. However they use S&B filters for there kits so as long as you know the dimensions of the filter you could get the correct sized filter here at about half the cost.
