Bought myself a C&L intake/brenspeed 93 octane tune.... this car really takes off now, I'm just mad I didn't buy one sooner. It really firms up the shifts of my auto.

My wife bought me a viper remote start kit( 160XV), so I'll be having that installed in a few weeks. does anyone have one of these remote start kits installed in their car... any feedback on them?

 

so you notice a big difference, i was thinking about going with the same CAI and a SCT tune. They say it adds about 30 rwhp, how true is that?

 

Expect more like 5-7hp gain from those two mods.

 

Are you smoking crack? Expect 20+ with an Intake+Tune combo on an 05+ GT.

Surely you jest. Dyno proven for 20+ for just about any CAI+tune on a 05+ GT.

 

notice the guy that said 5-7 hp is driving a 04 2v...doesnt respond like our cars do to tune and cai....i can testify that it makes a big difference, as will everyone else with an 05-07 with CAI and Tune

 

Well, I can tell you that it is more than 5hp... especially since I can make the tires scream any time i want as opposed to having to try and do it before. The dyno sheets by numerous tuners show gains of 20 - 30 hp for this modification.

On a side note, does anyone have the remote starter i mentioned. any + or - about it? I'll have to admit, a pretty cool gift by my wife who didn't ask what i wanted for christmas.
