1/4mile time? 2007 Ford Mustang GT AUTOMATIC TRANNY
I currently own a 2004 ford mustang gt.
Just bought a 2007 mustang gt. but with an automatic transmission.
Need info on:
1/4mile time with an automatic transmission
0-60mph time with an automatic transmission
and precisely how much horsepower a gt has equipped with an automatic transmission.
Urgent, before i challenge another car in a "stock dragracing" competition.
Could only find the time's of GT's with a manual tranny.
Also tips on how to get more go along with the show?
Chargers?-> which brand?->how much $?
Air filters.? anything.

Motor Trend have tested the 2005 Mustang GT auto and here is what they came up with:
1/4mile: 13.6@99
0-60: 5.1sec
RWHP: 262
I know of a guy runnin 13.7s in a 115degrees!!

I know where talkin 1/4 mile here but my closet track is 1/8 and for what its worth, 07 mustang auto that i use to have with a Brenspeed tune (91) and C&L ran a consistant 9.20. I feel in pretty much stock form that the car is really in its best in the 1/4 mile and not 1/8, at least without a lot of mods. I ran a buddie of mine's 63 Corvette split window coupe one day (Undisclosed location)
4 speed 340 horse car, which is a good mid 13 sec. car. Beat me good off the line, about 2 cars, but when we hit the stripe i had him by a car length and the Auto Gt was still pullin in 4th gear.

There's a lot of info on the web on track times and horsepower
but not specifically one about a Stock 2007 Ford Mustang Gt with an auto tranny.

i'm racing against a stock nissan 350Z. and a nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo next weekend.
what do you think will come out of it? 1/4mile race.
