Default Acceleration problem...!

I have noticed that for some reason, between 1k and about 2500 or 3000 RPM the car seems to be not picking up as well as I would like it to. I am having 3.73 gears installed on the car asI post this. Will this solve the acceleration factor of the car? Or... do gears only help withgas milage?

those gears will not help your gas milage but will boost your acceleration by quite a bit
