Default How much did your set-up cost?

Hey fella's...
I'm planning on doing some modding soon.
Just want to get my car into the low 13's. with the least "hard" moddifications.
Wanted to know what it might cost me. How much have you guys invested in your stangs?
Was the cash worth the improvement?...

do these mods require any extra maintenance?
does it cause more general "wear" of the vehicle..mainly the engine?

The only reason it would cause more wear on the car is due to the fact a person would beat on the car more since its faster[sm=badbadbad.gif]

Of course it causes more general wear and tear.....its not stock and stock is optimized for best life on the car basically....

Now with that said its not going to knock years off the life of the engine or anything. The main thing is how you drive it. Common sense tells you that if you race it at the track every other weekend its not going to last as long as the guy who drives 20 miles to work on the highway every day and doesnt race it.

The mods are worth it if you really want to feel your car and have some fun.

the supercharger was about $5800 installed with the new injectors, pulley, belt, MAF etc. headers were $1700 installed....new axle backs were $400....misc suspension $1000...new wheels and tires...$1300....CAI and tuner $700 (Dont use CAI anymore) Grill, visual items, stripes installed etc new rear valance (CAL GT SHELBY STYLE) etc etc roughly another $2200....so a little over $13000....it adds up...TJ
