Default Cold Air Intake install tips

I'm about to recieve a FRPP(Steeda) CAI from the dealership that I bought my car from. It was originally supposed to come with it but i got f*cked. I don't want to deal with the dealership anymore, so I am going to just do it myself. Anyway, i've already done a search, but didn't find actual install tips. I am a novice, but heard this isn't too hard to do. Ialreadyhave the new tunes from B a machips to load afterwards. Just wondering if there is anything I may need to know before trying to put it in. Any tips, tools, advise that makes this easy as it has to be would be helpful, pictures if you got em.

Thanks.... Matt

To be honest just do it. Its like 2 screws and a bolt. Really simple stuff for anyone, not just a gear head.

You need a set of torx bits, screwdriver, and a socket set. (only need one size, forgot which one)

No big deal, just make sure that you put the MAF meter back in the right direction ('cause you can fit it in the wrong way as well).
Detach cables by unlocking the red safety things (I don't know the name).
Tighten the screws and that's it...

The stock MAFmeter use torx screws. Steeda provides regular screws for you to replace but that's up to you. I used the stocktorx screws again. Everything else is pretty self-explanatory. You will feel happy that you've accomplished something on your own.

BTW, make sure the Flux Capacitor is turned off when you're about to install the Steeda intake. Good luck!!!

Hey thanks man.... I was so mad that it had snowed in the morning...I went up to stop A. By the time I got there i was covered in salt. But oh well, the cruise was still fun, just wish it had not snowed so my car would be clean. Which are was yours? What stop did you get on at? CHEERS!!
