What is the weakest link in the mustang motor and drivetrain?

im not really sure but my guess is the rotating assembly...and the weakest in there would be the connecting rods

I would say rods. But the first thing would most liklybe a stock clutch .

i have a stock car and i dont know much about modd? but what do you want to do to your car? high psi sc/turbo? basic bolt ons? would help w/ what would be weak.

I gave the stock rotating assembly my vote as the weakest link although the stock clutch is made in France[:'(]. As mentioned above the stock rods seems to be a common culprit.

Well that just means the clutch will just run away and hide when the power comes. Doesn't it.?
