Default Upgrades?

06GT - looking for a CAI, tuner, springs to lower and stability...

Recommendations?

Im going to be doing some dress up on it as well. Looking for a strut tower brace / plenum cover combo that actually works together.

Thanks in advance!

My wife and I have two '07 GT's. We started with a K&N CAI on her car and an S&B CAI in mine. ++++++++ they dont need tune and they work awsome !!!!!! Because the rear end are so high on these cars, we added ROUSH 1' drop rear coil springs and left the front stock. It looks and rides amazing. Then I got an SCT tuner from Brenspeed +++++++++awsome tuner. I also got STEEDA pulleys, which I really like. I run constant 13.6sec with street tires on bullit 17". Hope this helped.

I have the C&L CAI with the Predator 93 tune, Pro 5.0 short throw shifter, and BMR Strut Tower Brace. I'm adding Lower Control Arms and headers later.

Everyone - thanks for the input so far. Just wanting a little more clarification on a couple things. What are everyones thoughts on the stock struts and shocks? Are they good enough to work well with a spring swap?

Partsbill- is the pretty much the same plenum cover one can get anywhere on the net? Also if you dont mind, where'd you find a GT500 strut tower brace and about how much was it? That is a sweet looking ride.

owereo01 - Overall how do you like the C&L CAI with the 93 tune? Have you tried a 91 tune? I am at high altitude and it's hard to get over 91 here probably because of emissions.

Ezio - why just the spring change in the back and did you do it yourself? Was it difficult if so? How did that change the ride? I dont know if they will help but I am concerned about sag when launching or shifting on hard throttle. I've also infrequently gotten a little wheel hop, but not much to talk about.

Again - very cool that everyone is helping as much as you are! It's really appreciated.

I love it. Boosted performance and mpg. I'm in Maryland and we don't have 91 here. I'm sure it would work fine since the tune controls the air/fuel mixture and the spark timing. My went with the C&L because my mechanic is Justin Burcham and he hold the record for N/A Mustang. 9.64 quarter.

So I've been thinking...while I am in there why not add NOS? I havent seen any dry systems, so I'm assuming I'll be going with wet. And so far it's up in the air between B A MA and brenspeed for the CAI/tuner combo. Been thinking the CAI/SCT X2 combo. Am I going in the right direction? Has anybody else done this and if so what's been your success/experience?

As always - thanks for your input - BTW this is on my 06....
