Default SCT Tuning help?!

Has anyone tried to change the shift points using their Xaclibrator 2 by SCT? I was scrolling down through the options today and saw that you could change the shift points at a certain mph or something.... can anyone explain?>

The only thing you can do with the Atomatic using the SCT is to change the shift pressures.

My tune is Doug at B.A.M.A. chips. As far as I know he is the only tuner working on shift scheduling/ shifting points.

Myself and some others have been working with Doug using different shift schedules. Right now my automatic is programmed to shift at 3K rpm in all gears except 1st, it shifts at about 1.5K, this during normal driving.

Why not send Doug an email, let him know your interested in trying out some different shift schedules.
I think you will be surprised as to how agressive the automatic can be.

Youcan always go back to the factory shift schedule.

Brenspeed tunes also update the automatic shifting. My auto really came alive with the 93 tune from Brenspeed.

Ther are over 70 points you can change on auto trans. From shift pressure to rpm shift pointsat every gear. Its best to study and learn before changing to much. But you can makeone Hell of a differance in how it shifts

I have been told that shifting the auto tranny based on RPM is not available to the dealers. If you know a tuner that has accomplished this I would like to know who it is.

Thanks

to my knowledge, you can only adjust the shift points as far as mph by yourself. i did it with my old V6 cuz they power band ran out at 5300RPM and the **** points were at 5500RPM, so I dropped the shift point by about 2mph to where the speed would be at about 5300RPM
