i have the corsa axleback and i didnt notice 13hp difference, its alot louder, and MAYBE, MAYBE a slight difference...but nowhere near those numbers...

the numbers on Corsa's website are stated with teh use of thier x-pipe...not just axle-backs...

Many places do this, advertise large gains, however many times the gains are only realized with a tune, or in this case, another part complimenting it...IE. the x-pipe to compliment the axle-backs...

Corsas are still worth it soundwise, but i wont use their x-pipe...you have to cut your old one up, the Corsa pipe is not a full pipe, it is just the "X" section...you need to cut out the "H" from your stock and thats how you replace it...its not a full pipe like many other maufacturers...I prefer a clean install with a full pipe for bolt-up, rather than hacking up the OE H-pipe...my two cents

Actually when I put on my axle backs I thought I lost a little but one guy a year back said he gained 4 horsepower. Personally I don't think it makes any difference.

Alocal Speed Shop (HiTech) has dynoed many after market axle backmuffler's. And found little or no gain over stockGT mufflers. Now on the Stock V-6 mufflers. Yes you can gain around 6 to 10 hp.

u see ads for hp gains on a product they may be telling the truth but that doesnt mean it adds all the hp to the top. for ex. if your car dynos at 267rwhp and you add catbacks you may dyno at 268 or 269 rwhp. The ad says you can get 12 rwhp so where do you gain the hp? Maybe at 3000 rpms you went from 228rwhp before to 240rwhp after? Do you understand?

I have seen a dyno with gibson exhaust and down low the car lost 4-8 rwhp but then it added around 4 rwhp @ like 5500rpms.
