i just got my kooks headers, x pipe and intake put on and everytime i press in the clutch it goes to about 500 rpms and sometimes stalls. i brought it back to the shop and they said the car needs to learn how you drive. is this true!!!

also I only got 20hp and 35ft lbs of torque. do these numbers sound right?
it sounds like the headers are rattling inside also, anyone else experience this?

Are you using the stock canned tune? Or a custom canned tune?

 

it was a tune he did on the computer sniper program that he loaded to my car

 

So the problem is since u installed the Headers and X-pype? uhmmm never heard of a car doing this for switching headers and x-pype before[&:]

 

also the intake was added (C&L)

 

i just threw a check engine light which they said it would...

 

prolly his tuning error, the MAF could be incorrectly connected, or he's right since our cars do have a learning computer

 

im thinking it's the tune the problem.

 

he said to give it a couple days and if it doesnt correct itself to bring it back

 

Get a good tuner....
