ok so coming home from work I was even with a civic maybe 1999, or 2000 or something like that. Granted we didnt go a 1/4 mile he let up before me but he was clearly beating me. When I pulled up to him just casually driving I saw a guage on his driver side pillar but as soon as I go up to him he rolled up his window. I am mostly stock and I'm fairly sure he had to have NOS in order to do that with a used up civic but still......
hehe thats true. That civic did not sound like any other civic I have ever heard when he opened it up, which is another reason I think he had a power adder. I havn't done any mods yet and probably shouldnt beracing down the roadanyways but come on its a freakin honda lol

Ouch, I would have taken that to the grave with me. He could have been boosting. Sometime cars hide the sound ofS/C whine or turbo spooling really well.

I figured people share there experiences here both good and bad. It is embarrasing yes but I just dont see a civic w/o a power adder beating a mustang. What would be fun would be to do some mods and beat him with his little juice rocket.
I'm thinkingfor you, a good start would begood tune, 3.73s, maybe a torque convertor. I know dick about autos so you may what to ask around what would be a good torque convertor for you. But if you really want to lay it down a 125 shot should put him in his place.
