Brake upgrade time?

Brake upgrade time?
So I dont go fast all the time, but this morning I was playing around with another GT and we were hauling ballz. Anyway,I went to decel and after a few seconds of reasonably hard braking, I could feel a little bit of grinding and perhaps some fade. Wondering does that sound like brakes or is it tires or something else? If you've driven fast and experienced this you'll know what I am talking about. My guess is the rotors and pads were getting real hot (but after seriously 3-4 seconds??) and that's what I was feeling and hearing. Especially would like to hear from anyone who has had this happen and if they were able to pinpoint or resolve it.

RE: Brake upgrade time?
Has anybody used these? on the s197 forums they are getting some serious praise and they seem very reasonably priced.

I think it's funny you flamed the guy for his brake duct but then don't know what you are talking about.
Those rotors are a waste of money. They don't increase performance. If you believe the gimmick i've got a TORNADO for sale cheap.
The guys that buy them do so because of the coating because they don't like seing rust on their rotors. If your car is a show queen - go for it. Otherwise it's an outlandish expense IMO.
good pads
braided lines
high temp fluid
done
or.....save up $1500 for a big brake kit and another couple g for 18" wheels/tires to clear them if you don't have them
