just installed my brenspeed 93 octane tune and im getting the check engine lite on my 2007shelby gt. the tune is set for o/r pipe onlycause thats the only upgrade i did. i pulled the code and it was p0605( internal ctrl mod rom er) i uninstalled and installed the tune just to get the engine light on again!!!!!!!. how can i fix this. im gonna call brenspeed in the morining. can anyone help. any have this code before and what did you do to fix it? thanks

 

i wouldn't run the vehicle until you get another
tune from brenspeed. be patient, it's not worth
the risk

 

That sucks! However, I'm sure they'll take care of it. I'm with Hammeron let the car sit until you get ahold of Brenspeed.

 

This error says your Read Only Memory (EEPROM) has been corrupted. Definitely sounds like something wrong with the tune programming. Please post back and let us know how Brenspeed responds and what the problem turns out to be. I, for one, am very interested.

 

just got off the phone with brenspeed. he stated that the code is coming on due to the computer being flased by their tune. he stated that the tune is fine and the computer is saying that its been flashed and he is gonna send me a tune in about 5 minutes which will turn of the cel.

Glad to hear that all is well now. But it sounds a little fishy to me that Brenspeed says the tune is fine but that they have to send you another tune to turn off the trouble code. If everything with the tune programming was right, then the code should never have shown up to start with. But I guess all's well that ends well. Thanks for posting back with the results.
