Default tyres & Headers... Please help..

Hi,

What are the best street slicks for my car? The size i need is - 255 20". I need traction! Im loosing lots of power because of no traction...

Also

Im looking at buyer headers, what are the best? Long or short? I dont want the car to sound like a tractor.. A friend put headers on his and it sounded sooo loud.. i dont want this

Equal length long tube headers are the best for making additional power. But they will be louder!

IMO, you need to go down to 18s to get better traction and acceleration. 20" rims are just too heavy and just slow the car down - but they look nice if bling is your thing!

Yes you have to go down to 18s or less. as for the headers, why do you need them? it's been said the stock exhaust is good to about 600hp, you will gain what? 5-10 horsepower? not worth it! sure it feels great to have an aftermarket headers but unless your car puts down +550rwhp you won't need it...save the cash for something else. (My opinion, I could be wrong)

well yes, you are wrong. i personally gained 20hp from my lts and have the dyno graph to prove it. with the combo of my jba axles, the sound is absolutlely insane! with just a few other bolt ons, you can gain some serious ponys.

have to agree that LT are worth more than 10 HP in most cases.

Obviously LTs worth the money. But since I'm going turbo LTs are not for me...unfortunately

I like American Racing Headers. Great fit and quality. They stole the top designer from Kooks.

with a set of long tubes and matching x pipe you can reach gains over 30HP but have to modify your tune

Get some long tubes and also go down to 18inch rims. 20's are to big.
