ok so im on the b@m@ chips page trying to load in my info to get a race tune and i have not used them before.. on the online order for it asks for mods etc. and for your pcm code.. it says on 2000 and newer cars is should be a four letter code.. the only thing close is a three letter code? anyone point me in the right direction on where to search????

 

look for a 4 digit code in this area

i havelooked in the engine bay.. i cant find anything.. online it says that it should beon the front passenger side of the engine/ k83 is the only white tag located in that area?

 

should be 1 letter and 3 numbers

ok ... well what should this number letter combo be on.. a white tickit lookin thing located on teh back firewall on one of the tubes?? because thats what i thought it would be.. k83.. thats what was on that

 

ok, as A LAST RESORT, i'm pretty sure
the 4 digit code is on a label on the back side
of the PCM itself. in order to see this label,
you have to unbolt the PCM and pull it out.
be careful with the cables and connectors
if you go this route.

you would want to disconnect the battery also before
pulling out the pcm

 

it should be on the pcm box thing, almost in front of the passenger side headlight. it should be silver lokking box

 

thanks for teh help guys.. i looked that box over and over and over.. finally took hammeron's advice and pulled the pcm... finally got it.. man.. took some work to get that thing.. but.. it'll be worth it.. thanks again for all the help!
