Default TPMS - quick question

Have the tuners found a way to disable this yet? I didn't want to read through all the TPMS threads. I know I can do the PVC tube to solve this as well.

Nope nothing can be done with it....that anyone has come up with yet besides just getting the new sensors or putting them in a pressurized tube like youm mentioned.

I have heard that method also but its not a 100% gurantee just like the pvc tube dosen't work all the time, so its hit or miss.

Yep--that's what I did. The original bands that hold the sensor/carrier assembly to the wheel can't be re-used, but new aftermarket bands can be used to mount the sensors to the new wheels. No programming necessary--when you make the change and first start the car you'll get a warning light, but it will go out after a couple of miles of driving.

Ok call me ignorant. What is TPMS and what does it do?
I got new rims.... replaced stock 18's with the Roush 18x10's...

Is there something I need to do here?

Discount Tire and others have the aftermarket bands. If you're going to 20" you can also get the stainless 20" bands from Ford that they use on the Harley-edition F-150.
