Default quickie.

Hey guys, A while ago I used sea foam in my stang, works great, but some was spilled on my cheap paper air cleaner.

Like half of it is stained.

Should I replace it?

Is the k&n worth it for like $30?

Or just a cheapo?

If it were me, I'd change it. A CAI (with a K&N)is probably the best, If you aren't going that route, I'd go with a K&N drop in. My $.02 worth.

I'd say it's probably OK. Still, if you're worried enough about it to post on the internet, then you should probably replace it, if only for piece of mind. I'd just go to the dealer and get a new paper filter. They aren't that expensive. I wouldn't waste any money on a drop-in K&N if you're just going to replace it with a new intake later.
