should i keep my saleen s/c?

Ibought a saleen s/c in April but havent put it on yet. I just recently put in a new 302 shortblock all forged and so now it has me wondering if i should just sell the saleen blower and go with a kb since i can up the boost higher than the 14psi max on the saleen. I need some opinions please!

Dude why didn't you tell me that in JULY! I just had a Saleen installed last week!
As for keeping it, if you are going to, (not planning to) run more than 15psi then you need to look at something else. But if you plan on the driving the car on the street in traffic, anything more than 15psi is insane! The SC make a ton of heat, I am only running 6.5 psi and in traffic with the windows down I can feel the hot air coming off the motor not stock hot air but very hot air. I am all ready thinking about upgrading the radiator.

sactown if your car putting off extra heat are you having any problem with the ac not cooling the inside off as well as before the sc install???

No the AC works fine but it does take a little (I mean seconds) longer to get cold, but with how hot it has been this week and probably next, I don't run the AC when I am stuck and I mean stuck in traffic, Sac is almost as bad as LA for traffic. These dipsh!ts at caltrans added a light on my way home (one light)that forces 6 lanes of traffic into 2! What the F! were they thinking! it now takes me 15-20 minutes more to get home. I hate those A$$HOLES!

After thinking about it, what year is your car? After going from a 281 to a 302 will the SC fit? Did you just stroke the block? I think you need to ask a couple more question before you give up on the Saleen SC you already paid,if you have any deep question ask blackhorse05 (or keep asking questions on the forum before just dumping it.) if he don't know I bet he can find someone that does. He knows his Saleen stuff. He is the one that offhard his advise on my car ( I did not ask and was clueless), and I am very happy with my car it fricking ripes A$$!

sactown, its an 05 and yeah sorry about that, its a 302 stroker block by jdm. Are the saleen blowers whine loud or only at wot? I think i may just stay with the saleen for driveability issues this is why i asked for your guys opinion haha.
