Default SCT Tuner question

This is a question my friend asked me and I did not have the answer, so I am asking you guys. Could I use my SCT Tune to disable the traction control in a Hertz rent-a-racer mustang?

well that's mostly correct......IMO

u could....but the effort would not be worth it.... would have to send to dealer to have sent to SCT to unlock.... use it on the GT-H... then repeat for your car.....
would take you weeks at least

I was reading one of the car rags a while back, Car And Driver, maybe? Anyway, they rented a GT-H and disabled the traction control using a paper clip.

Unless Ford changed something, why not just push the little TCS button to turn it off? lol

BTW....might I suggest taking up on the insurance they offer......using paperclips to disable the traction control???!!!

Because the "little TCS button" is disable you cannot just turn it off, why else would I be asking? And yes insurance will be a must! Just walk away is what they say.

Here it is. It was Edmunds and they used a pocket knife...they used it to remove something like a paper clip.
