Default auburn diff time? already?

Okay my last time at the track I was running mt drag radials, which would sooner snap a driveline component than spin (properly inflated and heated up anyway)...people were telling me "you're only spinning one wheel after you leave the waterbox"...some people said only the right was spinning, then later on someone said only the left (maybe they were mistaken?)...so that weekend I bolted the factory pirellis back up and did some clutch drops and powerbrakes, to make sure I got twin strips, and I did, seemed to be the same "quality" side to side...so were the mickeys to blame for the one-wheeling, or is my factory diff already screwed up? I've done maybe five track days, four on nittos and one on mickeys, and really heated those effers up...wonder if I weakened the diff...
...thanks guys...

first you have your tranny replaced under warranty, now you go in for this....you dealer has to be stupid if he warranties this also...

soooooooo....I'd know the jig was up when/if the car starts doing one-wheelers with the weak pirellis, right?

hey, I have connections in that dealership, helps me grease the wheels a little bit...but with the 4.10s in, I wouldn't even try to get this warranteed...like I said, since the car will lay twin strips with street tires, I was wondering if maybe the mickeys were to blame...

sounds like the diff maybe was overheated or mostly worn out. on the street it will be much cooler then doing the agressive stuff you do at the track.

the mt dr's are not that sticky. they are a great dd sticky tire, but i can spin them though 2nd and half of 3rd at the track if i dont get them heated up just right.

i have mt e/t streets on my welds and nittos on my regular rims...i always used to do first gear burnouts with the nittos and it was fine but rhe first time i ran my mickeys my friend told me that one wheel was only spinning and that it wasnt even moving that fast....i started doing second gear burnouts after that and havnt had any problems yet...i have made about 10 passes so far on them....i have also found that when you do second gear burnouts with the mickeys that they stick a lot better

I have the MT et drag radials, p275/40r17...I heated them up at maybe 30mph for 5-7 secs, with 4.10s and under 300rwhp I launched at 5000rpm with no spin. My nittos spun first, second and chirped third. My friend hasan eleven second ws6, 3.73s, nitrous, launches at high rpms w/ the same mt drags I have and no spin. How much power do you have to spin mickeys?

same size tires. 275/40/17 et street radials. i have 410rwhp and 462rwtq. the track wasnt prepped too well (which is why i never go back to that one again)

i now run the et street bias ply tires, and they are sticky as a mother.
