i've heard the gains from UDP is negligable. what about axle back exhaust. it'll set a more aggressive tone to the exhaust sound. or gears would really make a difference in acceleration.

Your wrong with the UDP...the kits for these cars switch out the water pump pulley...not changing the alternator pulley...so the alternator is uneffected.

UDP are a great, inexpensive, mod that you cna do at anytime becuase they dont require a tune. My suggestion would be a set of Charge Motion plates along with teh UDP at the same time, you'd feel it pull harder up top, without sacrificing down low.

UDP does slow down the alternator. The bigger water pump pulley is to keep the water pump spinning at the same speed. If you have a Shaker1000 or other powerful audio system you could run into charging problems. Get a UDP, delete plates, and a new (custom) tune. You'll probably see between +10-15hp. I have a Diablosport tune also, and although it is alot better than stock, there is alot more room for improvement. I'd be willing to bet that the Diablosport tune does not tune properly for you O/R X-pipe. I'm still waiting to get a set of delete plates before I install my UDP, so I'll be doing UDP, delete plates, and a new tune all at once.

I have a set of pullies waiting to be installed. I want to get the meziere e-water pump to go on with them should give closer to15 hp combined. The thing is I'm back on my SC kick so not sure I want to install the UDP's since they come off for FI anyways. Axlebacks wont do anything to performance but they will mae it sound better. Gears are golden in my view just be sure to get the FRPP gears.

Do the gears next if you have the 331's. you will notice more of a change with that imo.
