Default Spec 3+ but which Flywheel ?

After toasting the stock clutch I have decided on the Spec Stage 3+ and Spec Flywheel but should i get Aluminum or Steel ?...I've been researching and it seems most go with the Aluminum. My car is 90% street &10% Track.

I would go with aluminum if your not heavy track. talk to spec about the "super twin" setup. It's so new that last week when I checked it still wasn't on their website.

How well do aluminum flywheels hold up to forced induction?

I am running the Spec's 2+ clutch with the aluminum flywheel, have a few trips to the track on it and about 5000 miles, without any problems.

I think steel is better for launch due to the rotating mass. But with the power of the SC I think the alum is fine. Have not been to the track since putting in the new clutch so I don't know about the 60 times yet.

i saw on the "other" forum, that he had
already decided a couple of days ago, to
go with steel

some of the reasons to go with steel, moose
pointed out somewhere...

slightly better launching
rpm's don't drop as fast when shifting
etc
