Default so let's say I have $500....

My ride isa street-er. I only take it out on good days (have a DD) when the weather is nice and I want to have fun and enjoy it. This usually involves getting somewhere quick, going fast, loud music and grinnin. At the top of the'Wish List'is anSC...one day. I am not buidling the car with any thoughts of 'Strip'. I drive quite a bit of highway miles.

Current thought process:
spydershaft, full suspension, tires, exhaust, SC

Spydershaft (should I do a Kmember w/torque limiter and DS safety loop at the same time?) 700
The suspension mods look to me like ~2k
Rims and rubber say 1,250.
Exhaust, well, it all depends, right? I would say at the moment LT's, High-flo cat and maybe Flow's, another 3k?
SC 6k

Or another way to ask this, should I just hold onto my 500bucks and keep savin' for the big stuff?

because of the way you describe
your driving habits (nice days, get there quick)....

my personal opinion, would be for you too simply
save for the s/c and get that working.

you may find, that is everything you need......of course
you can always do extra lttle mods after that, just to
have something to tinker with (that's my plan )

Even if you go S/C you need suspension and a D/S. Go for one of those first and save save save....

An electric water pump is within your price range. Its got some great advantages and it will net you a few pony's. I want one now but I got other things on the stove so it will have to wait.

I would say suspension and the DS myself. Too many times I have seen cars built with gobs of Horepower and Torque and they can't hardly use it because they can't get it to the ground or they can't stop after they take off. Do the supporting stuff first, then add the power.

rmays: good to see you here...you were in the tungsten gray registry, right?

thanks for the feedback. The DS and k member are within my grasp ($) and I just don't think I can way a year or so to save up for an SC to do something.....

I will look into the elec water pump...any I should consider specifically?
