Just out of curiosity, what kind of numbers are you Automatics pulling on the dyno with just the CAI and Brenspeed or Bama tune.
My car has the C&L Racer intake with Sutton High Performance tune and I dyno'd at 276rwhp and 296 rwtq. Nothing else has been done to the car yet, but I have the UDP's waiting to go on along with the IMC Delete Plates, I put my car back to stock form so I can get it Dyno'd again to have a correct Baseline, Sutton High Performance will be dynoing my car in stock form and then again after the pullies and delete plates next Friday.
Thanks Rich

Nevermind, I just started a new thread for my question

I have a question also.
I ordered a JLT intake and its in route via UPS right now...
But I didn't really want to spend 350+ on a tune.
I have a shop around here that could dyno it, does that mean they can tune my CAI on the dyno and make my auto shift faster and chirp 2nd etc...? And how much does it cost to dyno tune?
BAMAchips is located 2 hours from me... is it better off to go there or is that going to cost me major $$$?
I'm trying to get this done the right way for the least amount of money possible.

(I got the brand new JLT for $102.50 on ebay)

When I ordered my first tune it would have been about $300 dollars more for a dyno tune as opposed to the normal tune provided by the tuner. When they said I could expect only about 5-8HP more on the dyno I opt'd to save the money. Also keep in mind that for the extra $$$'s with say a Brenspeed package you get 3 tunes....87,92,93 and etc.

I'm running a JLT Intake and Brenspeed 89 octane tune on my GT. It made a huge difference and I'm quite happy. My tires don't always chirp going into 2nd and 3rd these days, but I think thats due to the wider Kumho tires I put on (more gription). We do have 93 octane gas here, however in the past I have not had good luck finding consistent gas on other cars and would sometimes have pinging, etc. Therefore I run the 89 tune and put 92-93 into the tank. So far so good...
