Default RE: CMCV Deletes w/out Tune!!

the CMCV is not going to give you a bunch of gains and the o/r pipe isnt going to add anything either...combine you have maybe gained 10HP on the high end, but you have lost a little low end torq with the setup also.....

There was just a thread about someone getting their TB replaced and the dealer mentioned it is "common" and i doubt they will say the CAI and tune is causing the TB to fail.

I know that I'm not supposed to expect much out of them.

But I sure did LOSE some low end torque. It's noticable!

I'll take it to the dealer on Monday and see what they say!

I've taken the plates off and on numerous times. Got it down to about 45 minutes. Worth spending the 45 minutes than arguing with the dealer.

Have you tried calling Doug and seeing if he can have a look at your tune and possible adjusting it? Is the tune you're running meant to be used with the O/R pipe and delete plates?

I'm getting a Whipple next summer, hopefully.

Does it replace the delete plates?

Call him and have him look over your tune to make sure everything is OK. I recently bought a race tune from him and he accidentally gave me a tune for a C&L Racer (I have a Street) and the car was idling rought and throwing lean codes. After he gave me the correct tune, everything ran perfectly.

I'll give him a call tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the advice.
