i just ran into a 05 or 06 gt for sale and thinking about upgrading to it from my 93 4 banger and was wondering if there were any major problems with this year model and if u can help me know what to look for when i look at it tomorrow i would be very thankfull of it

yeah it goes fast. look for any problems you would with any other used car. i dont know offhand what those would be, but a testdrive should be extremely telling

I have an 07' and a few of the issues that I've heard some '05 and '06 owners (plus some early model '07's) have had haven't shown up for me. There is a recall section here that I believe covers most of the issues. Familiarize yourself with these and youshould be able toask the seller the right questions.

101,000 miles on my 06 GT so I'm guessing unless the car was abused you're ok - ask for proof of oil changes.
