battery problem..and new stuff!
I put my car away a few weeks ago for winter and start the car up every weekend just to warm it up and keep the gas from settling. I didnt start it last weekend and went to start it up today and the battery was completly dead. It wouldnt take a charge to well and finally we were able to jump it. I let it run and drove it around, couldnt help myself, just to let it warm up..everything seemed fine so i turned off the car after putting it back in the garage. I tried to start it again to see if everything was ok...and again nothing. I dont see why the battery would crap out on me just after two weeks? Before I bought it, it sat in the car lot in the middle of winter for longer than two weeks. Any thoughts?
Also I'll be putting in 4.10 gears come spring. I got an awesome deal from one of my friends neigbors who has a shop. I bought the gears from brenspeed, and he is going to do the install for only 100 bux! Also I gave my parents some ideas for christmas..either the pioneer avic-d3..cai and tuner..udps..any of those would be nice haha..

sorry to hear it. the fact that it wouldn't
take a charge to well, may mean
the battery has a bad cell or two.
i'd say when it's time to start driving it again,
get a new battery

I have the shaker 1000 in my gt and I make sure I turn it off before shutting off the car also I don't run the Anti theft alarm when storing my Stang for the long salty Canadian winter.....
I think there is a definit problem when storing a s197 for long periods of time I had battery problems all last winter. I like to start her every few weeks and have a cigar and drink watching my baby warm up! I think there is a TSB on this problem?
