Default LT HEADERS

Whats the difference between all the brands? Is it in HP? Quality?
Ive seen from Borla and Kooks which are over 1G and mac/bbk which are pretty cheap
What's the difference ? Is it just pricefor thename?
For example why would somone pick Kooks over BBK LT headers BESIDES the price differential...

Main differences are the quality steel, thickness of them and some don´t even include the bolts and gaskets.

Stick with the good brands out there, you get what you pay for.

+1. Go with quality vs. price. Take a look at American Racing Headers as well.

You could call Brenspeed and ask them for advice - they sell both the MAC and Kooks and thus would know the HP diff.

I have been told by guys at the local performance shop that ARH and SLP fit the best, with Kooks and JBA close behind. BBK not as well.

The only dyno numbers I've see are for SLP: long tubes, CAI (don't know which) and dyno tune resulted in +40 hp and +35 lb-ft (ref: Mustang Enthusiast, Aug 2007, pg 32)

i would recommend BBK, the fitment was good, and i believe the hp difference between brands are like 1-2 hp.

Kooks usually fit the best, because they are not true "long-tubes" they are actually mid-lenth.

Anyone know if the gains from Bassani are good? I know it has a very aggressive sound, but how about the gains?
