Default this quote reasonable

the cost for the JLT CAI, SCT X3, dyno time, custom tuning and tax would be around $850-$900
What you guys think, it includes the x3 so maybe

I think that sounds reasonable. Dyno time is not cheap.

However, from what I understand (there was a recent thread), many of the tunes from Brent or Doug are nearly as good as a Dyno tune (within 2-3 HP), and you can get an XCAL2 (possibly a 3? Ask them) and the CAI for like ~$600-650 shipped..

I would hold off on getting the custom dyno tune until you have all your mods installed.

850-900 seems a little high. Better off to just order the jlt/sct combo for like $560 and save up for your other mods before a dyno tune.

+1, box tunes are good for just a CAI setup. Once you start doing, exhaust, new intake, and adding boost you will definitely want to do a custom tune to get rid of any serious spikes in your A/F curve.

I actually think the price is pretty good, but for those mods I would just get a Bama or brenspeed tune....VMP is top notch too
