i have the 17" torque thrust style wheels that came with 235x55 r17's pirelli's. i was wanting to go with a wider tire and maybe a lower profile. has anyone done this or know what other size options are available? thanks guys

Anyone put a 275/45/17 on the stock rims?

Scratch that idea. I can't even find any tires in that size. If I had the money, i'd start my owner brand of tires and carry all the sizes that no one else makes.[:@]

there must be technical limits on what you can do with the size and proportions so it don't blow up

275 on an 8 or 8.5 inch rim is pushing it for a DD.....for the track you can get by IMO

I put a 275/40/17 at the rear and 255/45/17 in the front looks sick on the stock rims

I have 275/40/17s on the stock 17x8 Bullit wheels, however I usually put them on atthe track or drive them short distances !!
