LT Headers?
I currently have off road xpipes with flowmasters. The interior noise is fine now,i am able to speak without having to yell or even raise my voice until about 70+ mph. I was wondering, if I get LT headers, how much interior noise it would cause? If any of yall with LThave any informationabout this i would appreciate your input
first i put on the axlebacks, and that wasnt enough. so i put on the LT's and o/r x-pipe, and dude, it was at least 5x louder. at 70+ mph and windows up you can still carry on a convo, but at WOT forget about it i cant hear sheet!
i would say with your set up if you add LT's it will be at least 2x as loud, but i would go for it. it is manageable at cruizing velocity, but at WOT it will scream!!! and thats what u want right?

I have AR L/T, with their Catted H and Stingers, and suprisingly when the car is at highway speeds, and I'm in 5th, just cruising, the car isn't really loud. That said, when I drop it down to 2nd or 3rd, and go WOT, its LOUD!!! To tell you though, I LOVE IT!!! I would NEVER go back to stock exhaust. I've had several people in other GT's follow me, and at the next stop light, put their window down and ask me what exhaust setup I am running. Trust me, when you go with L/Ts, you'll love them!!
Thanks for the info. Will i need to upgrade my motor mounts when getting new headers? I would also like to keep my x pipe, and just cut it to fit the headers, its a 2 1/2 pipe. Which headers would work best with this setup?
