I would say your numbers are pretty accurate depending on what type of dyno you ran it on. Some may disagree but Ive always gotten lower numbers on dynojets, but they seem to be more "real". The best test is the drag strip.
you have that switched

More timing advance. What type of dyno is this on? I would expect 470rwhp on a dynojet, 410+ on a mustang dyno.
+1

You will want to raise the timing up to a point where your knock sensors start detecting a knock and then back the timing down 2 degrees.
You can do the datalog while doing the pull.

Just take it easy.

390 for a paxton 2200 is pretty low. Whos tune are you running? What was your PSI and what RPM did you pull too?

Are you running the HT0 plugs gapped at .32? You are about 90HP short of where the 2200 should be. I would call Brenspeed and ask them what they think.

Also what is your altitude? You will lose 5% power for every 1000 feet over sea level. So if you were at 5000 feet then you HP might make sense.

I dont think the 5% power loss aplies the same ratio as a SCed car as a NA car.

I think your right, the effects on altitude would be less then 5%, sorry for the confusion.

Help a noobie out, I am looking into a 2200 Paxton kit which advertises "up to 170hp increase", assuming that is at the crank, 300HP is stock, (I have a '07 GT, auto), that would be 470 HP at the crank, 80% or so would be 376 HP at the wheels right? So prgt's #s would be about right, actually if on a Mustang dyno, pretty good! Am I missing something?

it's advertised as WHP and on a stock GT at that...

376whp is great but in contrast to what you are supposed to be having??

I'd be pretty concerned lol.[:'(]

How hot was it out when you dynoed 390? 14 degrees of timing at WOT sounds very conservative considering I've seen 18.5 degrees with a stock whipple tune, but that was on a cold day. If it were hot out or you had some detonation then I could see 14 degrees. I would definately email brenspeed and send your dyno graph if you have one.
