Default o2 sensor extensions

Igot my jba LT headers w/ off road h pipe installed today and love them!!! but the guy told me i needed to get some o2 sensor extensions, so i was just wondering if the 94-04 sensor extensions worked for the 05+ models as well? I turned them off with my tuner so the check engine light won't come on but i just want to fill the holes b/c it sounds like i have a smallexhaust leak with them out.

hopefully i'm not misunderstanding your
question.....but couldn't you just screw the
o2 sensors into the bungs and leave them
disconnected from the harness...

Did you 'turn off' all 4 sensors or just the rears? Am I wrong - I was under the impression that the front O2 sensors are very important - they provide data to the computer that is used to adjust the air/fuel mixture. The rears on the other hand are for emissions purposes. Anyone know for sure...just trying to learn here.

Other note -You can also get a little bolt that is made especially to plug the bung holes, they only cost a couple bucks.

You can get something like this. I am sure you can find just the plug, but summit only has the bung and plug. But only $8.00

I am assuming he got 1 set for the fronts and is using them. I didnt get a second set with my ARHs so i picked up a second set for the rears.
