Default o2 sensor extensions

Igot my jba LT headers w/ off road h pipe installed today and love them!!! but the guy told me i needed to get some o2 sensor extensions, so i was just wondering if the 94-04 sensor extensions worked for the 05+ models as well? I turned them off with my tuner so the check engine light won't come on but i just want to fill the holes b/c it sounds like i have a smallexhaust leak with them out.

hopefully i'm not misunderstanding your
question.....but couldn't you just screw the
o2 sensors into the bungs and leave them
disconnected from the harness...

yeah i bought an extra set from Brenspeed also.....you can get by without them though, no big deal

Did you 'turn off' all 4 sensors or just the rears? Am I wrong - I was under the impression that the front O2 sensors are very important - they provide data to the computer that is used to adjust the air/fuel mixture. The rears on the other hand are for emissions purposes. Anyone know for sure...just trying to learn here.

Other note -You can also get a little bolt that is made especially to plug the bung holes, they only cost a couple bucks.

You can get something like this. I am sure you can find just the plug, but summit only has the bung and plug. But only $8.00

I am assuming he got 1 set for the fronts and is using them. I didnt get a second set with my ARHs so i picked up a second set for the rears.
