Your shop is correct.

In all honesty, I never really heard a whine even on my 2.6 HO until I hit 20 psi and even then it was only coming at you and not from behind cause my exhaust is just stupid loud.

The 2.8 HO had a nice whine at 22 psi, but again, my exhaust hid if if you were behind the car. Coming at you it sounded mean though.

My whipple 3.4 is another story...

You can most likely go 10 PSI without a worry on the stock KB tune. They will even tell you that if you call them.
I am running 11 PSI and my car runs fine but I run 100 octane all the time.
Oh and my KB 2.4 whines pretty well at WOT. It does not sound like an F3 ProCharger but it is very audible.

oooh now i can i had a few issues with the tune but today kbell sent me a new tune and anything above 4 grand and the whine sounds soooooo sweet ...

the issue was that i had a off road h .. and the shop that installed the tune forgot to tell them i had it so they sent me the tune without it .. so when i got it back from the dyno it was runing rich and have bogging isssues .. well now it is in the pasted and very happy customer now!

so 10 psi with no issues ??? i have a buddy with a procharger on his 197 running 466 rwhp and 417tq..and he seems to be fine

oh it has been to the track kas weekend it ran a 12.74 at 115 with a 2.75 60.... have a little problem now with traction.. trying to buy some DRs

its like a whole new car .. with topend
