Yup, I have his 91 Race tune & with stock tires & gears I could smoke them in 1st, spin them in 2nd & chirp in 3rd. With my new wider meats itwon't chirp in 3rd any longer. [&o]

I finally got to truely feel the performance of the stang with his tune. I live in
SLC at 5000'. Yeah, I know...I bitch all the time about it. I was just down in Vegas
for the NASCAR race and got to feel the power at 1900'. OMG...it rocked.

So, we were down there with one of her highschool girlfriends and her husband.
He has a big Dodge truck with a hemi. We're stopped, side by side and he power
brakes it and smoke the tires. My wife said..kick his a$$. So, I wait to for him to
gun it 1st. He does, from about a 20 mph roll. I gun it, it downshifted into 1st
andI felt the back end kick-out a little, and when I hit 2nd, it got a little sideways
again, but I stayed on it. My wife was like,"OMG". As I grinned from ear to ear...all I
could say was, we need to move.

Sorry to ramble but a lot of you guys have no idea how slow these cars feel at 5000'
compared to sea level.

Again, Dougs tune ROCKS!!

Doug is at Bamachips?

I bought a blown 05 GT from a guy in Georgia and I will be driving it in Colorado where I live.

The current tunes are by JDM Engineering with an SCT X2. Can a remote tuner like Doug do as good of a job as a local tuner on a dyno can if my car needs a re-tune due to the higher altitude here?

If I was running boost or a big shot of nitrous, I would only trust dyno tunes. Then again, he may be able to do something using the tune you already have as a starting point.
