A/C went out COMPLETELY. *UPDATED*
So I get in my car today and turn on the A/C for the first time in months. It blows nothing but HOT air. The compressor sounds like it's clicking on when I look under the hood, there is pressure in the lines, and I don't see any visible R134a leaks (The R134a is dyed in our systems, so it should be visible if leaking). What the hell is going on? Has anyone else had this problem? I'll be dropping her off at the dealership on Friday. I hope they don't try to dick me around and tell me it's not warranteed because of the supercharger...

I had the same thing happen to my '99. The problem was a bad wire going to the clutch for the compressor. Something I never would have been able to track down. I recharged the system and replaced 1 part...i forget which but to no avail.

RE: A/C went out COMPLETELY.
I recieved word from a member in another forum that there is a TSB out on '06 mustang GTs for a faulty compressor clutch. Seeing as I can hear the compressor kicking on, and there is plenty of refrigerant in the lines, I assume this is the problem. If anyone has the TSB number (or a PDF of the TSB), I would really appreciate it if you could pass it on.

My 06 that I bought in March of 06 is also doing this same thing. What sucks is that TSBs aren't covered out of warranty and I'll still have to pay for the fix. Well, at least now I can take in the TSB and tell them what to fix and save on the 'trying to figure it out fee'
