nothing too difficult, hood struts and oil separator. made it a father/ son project w/ my dad, he has all the tools. took longer than expected bc of rain bc i was doing the work outside w/out garage. here's the finished products:

yeah.. I've been thinking about hood struts myself.. but they seem a bit costly to me.. hard to decide wether to get it or not.. looks good though.

 

Where did you get the round bracket to hlod the can?

the hood struts were 85 w/ shipping, theres a cheaper one for 75, but i wanted the ones that were all black.

the round bracket i got from jegs along w/ all the other partsit's for a 3" diameter can,and i bought the straight mounting bracket from home depot to mount to the heat shield.

 

I could only find the 2 1/2 clamp. Do you have a part number by chance?
