Default Traction control?

This may be a stupid question but I was watching a youtube video and the guy was conducting a acceleration test. In the beginning he said traction control off. Is there such a thing? I have an 08 GT/CS and was just wondering. I try doing a donut and my car bogs out at about 3 quarters of the way. Is it my car or the driver? I wouldnt be surprised if its me driving and letting my rpm's get to high causing my car to bog and engine light flicker. Maybe I just should eas off a bit before I **** my car up. What do you think?

You have Traction control. If you turn it off you should be able to do donuts all day. The button is above to stereo, it's a button called TCS

Yeah the Traction Control just takes away the fun, but don't ever trust it to keep you under control. It doesnt seem like a very good system especially compared to BMWs T/C system.

yea... in all honesty, a lot of guys probably have a habit now of just turning it off (like me) everytime they start the car.

It may not be the most high tech of traction controls out there but it has saved me once or twice in rainy conditions. If it's dry I turn it off.
