I'm geeting my 05 Gt auto next month. My qestion is how difficult is it to re-flash the computor, and which tuner is the best and easy to use, I'm also going to install a cai kit also. I haven't decided which one, it seems everyone has a different opioin of which is the best, so I'm totally confusedon that. Also do you need to re-flash if you change gears stock to 3:73. I'm not much into mechanics on a car but not totally stupid either.

 

both tuners from what i have heard are easy to reflash your car with. i have the predator sports tuner it is easy. but i recomend getting your tuner from where ever you get your CAI because it will have the tune spacific for that part. that is why i went with steeda cause i knew i was getting the charge motion plates so i decided to keep it simple and get the steeda CIA as well. and yes your computer will need reflashed with 3:73 gears. so far the popular cia's are steeda and C&L but there are other ones out there as well MAC ect. ect.. hope this helps and good luck.

As far as Tuners. Personally, I take my car to a race shop where they know what the hell they are doing and can FINE tune my car to maximize EVERY Modification.

 

don't think he was asking for custom tunes. maby he can't even afford them. not all of us even live by a speed shop with a dyno i know i don't. he wanted to know about how easy it was to reflash.
