Hey guys, i have a 90 fox body right now, but im thinkin i want to sell it and get an 05-08 GT. How strong is the motor in these, i would like to put a kenne bell on it, just wanted all the info i can get, thanks

the stockinternals can hold about 450-500 rwhp.
the block can hold 700, i think.
so if you put on a KB and keep the boost at 9-10 psi should be fine. add forged internals and you can turn up the boost.
i like the fox bodys too. my original plan was to get a fox body and mod it, but i had no patience for waiting for a good one in my area. why you selling the fox?

I would not go over 450rwhp just for peice of mind but thats just me though.I kept it conservative at 430rwhp until I bulid the bottem end... I beat on my car pretty hard most of the time[&:]

im selling the fox because im getting ready to graduate college this year, and i want somthing reliable that i can drive whenever, somthing with A/C, and ive moded my fox quite a bit so my gas millage is siht. So i think i wanna sell it. I love the car but to get a brand new mustang with a warenty and reliable is a good way to go for me.
Also what do u guys think is better the kenne bell at 8-9 psi for 445 RWHP or the roush charger the pushes 4-5 psi witht the same 445RWHP????

I'd don't know what you are on, but there's no way a roush charger is going to match the power of a KB with only 4-5psi. I don't think the roush could match it at any boost level.
You are not going to have that warranty if you add a kennebell.

the roush is over priced.
ever consider a whipple? that is all i can really recommend since that is the only SC i have driven. but i really like it.
and i dont think the roush 445 hp is at the wheels, i think it is crank hp.
and i see your point about having a reliable new car.
