Default One wheel peel?

I think i'm only spinning one tire. How can I check the track lok to see if it's still working, besides the obvious. I know I read somewhere you could jack up only one tire and check it with a torque wrench.

I was in second gear and floored it, my tires start spinning and I look in the rearview to see a nice long black mark, but it was only the drivers side wheel.[:'(]

You answered your own question, no need to jack up the wheels.

put some new clutches in it and call it a day

Yep, new clutch packs or if you never want to have that problem again, get a gear driven LSD installed. I am having the same problem at the track right now, I think an LSD is in my future.

Forget the clutch packs! Eaton TruTrac FTW. My TruTrac is the best drivetrain mod I've done. Better then the DS and yes, even better than the gears themselves. Remember though, no friction modifier used with the TT.

I see you have 4.10's installed. Could it be possible that the clutch and shims were installed incorrectly? The guy that first installed my gears, didnt alternate the clutch and shims on one side.

Why do you say better than the driveshaft and better than the gears? Were you having problems with the LSD? I have the same driveshaft and there was a deffinite benifit there, I also have the 4.10:1 gears and the benefit there was huge. Currently I'm still on the stock LSD and I get great traction with both tires. -Joe

????? Aren't the clutches inside the differential and the shims on the outside?

I planned to get a trutrac, but I wasn't planning on one so soon.

I think there is a problem with these. I had to have the clutches changed at 8000 miles. My problem was they were sticking and making noises.
