X-Pipe ???
I have an 05 vert GT with an automatic transmission and I'm looking to purchase an off-road x-pipe within the next couple of weeks. Would it be something that I could install myself?? (I'm not exactly an A+ mechanic or anything, but I have a garage full of tools and a floor jack that could practically lift my entire car off the ground. I did install my mufflers and CAI, but that wasn't hard.) Would I need to get the extended wiring O2 sensor setup too? And with the addition of the o/r pipe, will it make the SLP LM's I currently have scream like a banshee??
The loudmouths and offroad x pipe will be very loud. You may want to listen to some clips or an actual car with the setup before doing it. I had longtubes with a offroad h pipe and the loudmouths originally and I hated it. In my opinion it sounded like crap.
SLP LMs and and O/R X pipe is a very obnoxious combination. Think long and hard about it. It always sounds loud, and it sounds nasty, but to some people, it's not a "good" loud. It gets very high-pitched at times. Are you doing long tubes soon? Might want to wait on the mid pipe. I had SLP's and a catless X, and it sounded much better when I got long tubes. It almost screeches sometimes with the stock manifolds.
Also, MIL eliminators modify the signal from the rear O2 sensors, that way your ECU still thinks you have catalytic converters.

I checked out a video of the setup I want....man, that sounds SICK!! (<---Badass!) My girl might be inclined to takethe credit card away after this purchase! I'd better kiss her *** in the immediate future so that doesn't happen. Any suggestions on how to do that??

Is it possiblethat I could de-activate the O2 sensors myself using my XCal2??
