The Spec is good for 520ft lbs of tq, and many people have it.
The spec stage 2 is 599 tq. 520 was the old rating when they used a 10.5 inch disc.
Thats good to know Moose I havent seen that quoted anywhere. What do you think of you Stage 2?

Your other option from Mcleod is their new Super Street pro clutch kit. It comes with the Hydraulic T/O bearing and Pilot bearing in the complete kit and is a 500hp clutch kit. I have not tried it personally (I have the RST) but those who have bene using it have spoken favorably.

it is a new company the guy who started it was from clutch masters. it is all that my tunner would let me buy. that price is at whole sale. he saidhe will order it for you but he will mark it up a little but it will still be cheaper than if you go some where else.

RPS (dual friction street strip) They probably have the best flywheel on the market.

Clutchmasters4 stages to choose from. I'm getting the twin disc
and should have a review on it in a few weeks.

Centerforce (not alot of us get them)

Spec (lots of complaints but some happy customers too)

Mcloud (already mentioned)

Those are the big dogs around here.I had the RPS and really enjoyed it. The pressure is probably 2x stock but the thing held great. I now will making more power than it can hold (rated to 600 tq) so I am switching to a billit steel flywheel and twin disc from Clutchmasters.

What about EXEDY? Thats the most expensive. Both the S197 drift cars use them and they have about 700hp

How much is it? RPS wants $2200 for their twin disc. It's ceramic and billet materials but jeez, thats alot for a clutch.

So far i'm happy with it, but I haven't taken it to the track yet. There is some chatter at low rpms. I don't even notice it in 1st, but you can feel it in 2nd and 3rd if you let the rpms drop below 2,000 and then accelerate.

The on/off feeling does take a little getting used to, but I don't even notice it anymore.

Alright now that you have had it a while would you recommend it?

I was shying away from it because of the 520 ft lb tq rating as I thought my set up would be getting too close to that at the FW. But 599 gives me more room.

I figure once I forge I will get a 8 bolt crank and have to buy a whole new set up anyway.

Thanks,
