I'm new to the Mustang & have a '05 GT Convertable. I am looking for a few modest upgrades to get a little more HP without going all out. Any suggestions- like cool air intake, Throttle body spacer, under-drive pulley....??? Your help is appreciated. Looking to those that have been there and what you expereinced. Thanks!

 

the C&L street is cool it has a Aluminum elbow which looks pretty cool you have to get it with a tune for it to work properly but u will also get a little better mileage. the dealer also makes a pwr pack which you can customize a little that wont void the warrenty which means u can take it in without reurnign it to stock.

I don't know what you consider 'modest', but CAI+Tune, and UDPs, driveshaft, or LTs should be good until you go FI.

if you want 50 more bhp you can probably do intake, tune, exhaust. if you want more like 100, its probably cheaper to get a 100 shot of nitrous.
