Default MSD frustration

I got the launch master a few weeks ago and just recently returned home. I got my stuff together and put the launch master in today and it went rather smoothly. About and hour and a half, which included removing my front driver seat so I could crawl under the dash. Got everything done and used a micro switch on the clutch.

I got everything done and rechecked connections and wiring then tested. It worked great with exception of cooking my cats pretty good. Anyway the test drive didn't go so well. The car was missing really bad and the limiter still kicked in at 4500. I went back, checked everything and then tried some different wiring, nothing worked. I called MSD. I explained the problem, confirmed my wiring and the tech told me the module was bad. That sucked. So anyway, Summit is sending a new part and all my wasted effort has seen no gain yet.

The good part is the car built about 2 psi @ 2000 rpms which is what I wanted. I would like to see what the car will do at 4500 rpms. I predict 5-6 psi built rather quickly then slowly like the 2000 rpm setting.

Cheers
