Default X-Plan available for GT?

OK, we ordered a 5-speed manual GT on 3-11. My wife just found out her company qualifies for the x-plan. Has anyone purchased their GT using the x-plan? I've heard conflicting stories.

I purchased mine on X-Plan. Plenty of other people have purchased theirs on X-Plan. The hard part is finding a dealer that will allow you to purchase on X-Plan. Some places will let you purchase right off the lot, some will only allow the purchase if you order the car, some are saying they will not honor it. It is completely up to the dealer.

I ordered a 2000 GT (because there wasn't one on the lot) on the X plan. When it finally came in, they dropped an F-250 on the roof while it was on the carrier. Still using the X plan, they ordered a 2001 for the same price.

A few dealers in CA told me that CA dealers could not offer the X-Plan on the GT... maybe it was BS, maybe not. Either way is obvious, these cars sell themselves, they will just sell to someone else.

I would have liked to take advantage of my Xplan, but I was happy to not pay over MSRP, at least how hard it was to find one here in Cali

I bought mine, $1900.00 under MSRP, on 2-3-2005. The catch is, the dealership isn't required to honor any plan, on any car, they choose not to. The dealership I bought my last$78,000.00 worth of Ford trucks from, will never get my business again. Why, because they wouldn't work with me.

Keep looking around, and good luck !!

I notice the dealer installs of the stripes dont go all the way down in the rear. I think its kinda funny lookin without the bumper striped
