Don't count out the Spydershaft. Mine will vibrate over 110mph only.

110mph is also when my car begins to vibrate. My first Spydershaft cause it at 90+. Rotated the shaft 180 degrees, still vibrated at 90. Swapped it out for another Spydershaft and now it vibrates at 110+ only, even after rotating it 180 degrees as well. Probably has something to do with my particular mod combination, so this isn't to detract from the integrity of the Spydershaft.

Hey guys,

So I took the car for a drive today ...
After fixing the tire balance on all tires, now the car actually shakes starting the 4th gear (+160 km/h) !!! ....

The good thing is, I didn’t feel the previous vibrations as I used to before at + 220 km/h (which were really bad!) ... however, I can’t take the car to the dealer to check it, as they can't drive beyond 120 km/h.

I don't think the aftermarket rims (SSR rims) are bent, because that would've shown while doing the tire balancing on the machine!! right?

What can be wrong here?

I thought it might be the air resistance, because I can see my hood wobbling around! ... I will buy hood pins soon for it...

Any thoughts?

Thx alot

Have you had any other mods like a gear swap or suspension parts? A lot of the times it seems like if you have a one-piece driveshaft you need adjustable LCA's or an adjustable UCA to fix the pinion angle, I know that was some of the problem with my aftermarket driveshaft. But if thats not the case then I would double check the driveshaft bolts and the rotor clips like the others were saying.
