Hey Guys and Gals, need help. I have a 2006 gt with about 7000 miles on her. I noticed about 1 month ago I took a trip to orlando and after non stop driving I came to a tool booth. Came to a slow of almost 10mph and downshifted. When I gave her the gas there was this jerk in the car like the car jumped out of gear then slammed hard into the right gear. I thought driver error maybe I didnt put her all the way in to gear upon downshifting. But it did it again once I got off the interstate.
fast forward to 1hr ago after getting off the interstate from constant driving, I stopped. Shifted to first and upon take off it did it again. Almost like it was not delivered fuel then all of a sudden it had fuel again. Any body experiencing these symptoms?
It's under warranty, but of courese if they can't repeat the problem it won't get fixed!! So any help or advice would be appreciated

 

i think their is a tsb on this issue actually, my car does the same thing too. Ill see if i can find it

Print that out and bring it to your dealer... tell them thats the problem and fix it!

gas pump recall. ford dealer will know what you are talking about. will test the fuel pump then when it tests faulty they will replace it. had the same thing happen to my 06 v6 when i had it. still think the 07 i have now does the same thing.
